Sequeira FC's Gustavo Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6thth minute of the game Gustavo Campos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ramalhoza's Álvaro Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rui Santarém sped through Sequeira FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Bessa. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gustavo Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sequeira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Campos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Álvaro Sá made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fábio Pinto in the 14th minute. Fernando Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Bessa having to interfere. When Fábio Pinto came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sequeira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Pinto couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Fernando Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Bessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Sequeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Leiria. In the 28th minute of the match Amadeu Gonçalves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Bessa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ramalhoza's zone, Gustavo Campos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Sá came out of the goal and Gustavo Campos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Ramalhoza's goalkeeper Álvaro Sá had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fábio Pinto. Daniel Bessa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Fernando Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Bessa was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Rui Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Daniel Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Campos might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Álvaro Sá. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Campos ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Rui Santarém made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ramalhoza booed when Sequeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Aguiar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Ramalhoza's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gil Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Fernando Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Bessa having to interfere. If Fábio Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Campos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Sá having to make a save. Gustavo Campos struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Álvaro Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sequeira FC. Álvaro Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Pinto in the 74th minute of the match. Fernando Aguiar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Daniel Bessa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 86th match minute, Sequeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Cruz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sequeira FC booed when Ramalhoza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
