Artur Machado scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mário Moreira hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of Edroso FC booed when Aramanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes, Edroso FC's Daniel Teixeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nuno Almeida came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Edroso FC reached it. 20 minutes into the match, Aramanha's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Andrade came free, but Nuno Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Artur Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edroso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rogério Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Marques made a kick off. Nuno Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Andrade in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Jacinto Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Pereira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Marques went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 68th match minute, Aramanha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Rogério Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aramanha's Nuno Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Aramanha from getting a goal against them. Edroso FC's Tomás Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Gonçalves in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Edroso FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Marques. A collision led to Edroso FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Rogério Figueiredo hit a great ball. If Jacinto Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Edroso FC booed when Aramanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes Aramanha got a freekick which was hit by Rui Costa. 88 minutes into the match, Edroso FC's Rogério Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Artur Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Almeida. Aramanha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artur Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
