Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jacinto Marques got the match started through his kick off. Nuno Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Espinhosela FC defense, Jacinto Marques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Viana. The Espinhosela FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Viana should have stopped the shot. Mário Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Viana having to interfere. Espinhosela FC's Hugo Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Marques in the 19th minute of play. Pedro Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Nuno Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jacinto Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Aramanha got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Pinheiro. Aramanha's Nuno Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Almeida in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

2-1 became the score in the 54th minute when Manuel Veiga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Mário Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Amílcar Ferro fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espinhosela FC's protests and gave Amílcar Ferro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aramanha booed when Espinhosela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aramanha's Cândido Gonçalves in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espinhosela FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cláudio Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Hugo Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Gonçalves in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Aramanha's Nuno Almeida got control of the ball when Pedro Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacinto Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Hugo Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cândido Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Espinhosela FC! The referee gave Aramanha a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by José Pereira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Espinhosela FC's Hugo Viana. 3-2. After 97 played minutes Aramanha got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Pinheiro. Aramanha's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
