Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Vaz got the match started through his kick off. Raul Setúbal hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Raul Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdisao's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Setúbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Assis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute Pedro Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vaz's late challenge caught a Souto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. When Souto FC's Nuno Matos, in the 17th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Souto FC. If Nuno Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Verdisao's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Matos came free, but Eusébio Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Matos in the 42nd minute of play. When Jacinto Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Souto FC's protests and gave Jacinto Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Souto FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Miranda. After 46 minutes Souto FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardo Ferreira who took care of the corner kick. Verdisao's Bernardo Ferreira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Delfim Assis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Simão Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Gustavo Moutinho made the kick off in the second half. Nuno Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Eusébio Ferro made a huge save. Eusébio Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Moutinho in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Verdisao's Gil Fontes got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Gustavo Moutinho came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Souto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Moutinho couldn't finish the play. Delfim Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Souto FC's Jacinto Miranda got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Souto FC's Delfim Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Vaz in the 94th minute of play. Delfim Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Souto FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
