Gonçalo Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Rui Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Marvoes's zone, Gonçalo Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Teixeira came out of the goal and Gonçalo Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 minutes of play, Vicoso's Amadeu Guarda made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! António Borges didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Marvoes's Paulo Leal shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. SC Marvoes's Rui Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Leite in the 19th minute of play. Gonçalo Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Leite in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Teixeira saved SC Marvoes from getting behind. Vicente Lima hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Leal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving António Borges. That made the score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. In the 35th minute, one of Vicoso:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vicoso. In the 40th match minute, Vicoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Leite to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amadeu Guarda made a kick off. If Gonçalo Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. SC Marvoes's Rui Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Guarda in the 63rd minute of play. António Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Ricardo Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Marvoes's protests and gave Ricardo Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. António Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Leal in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Humberto Aleixo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Marvoes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vicoso the free kick. A collision led to SC Marvoes getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. The crowd rose to their feet as Amadeu Guarda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rui Teixeira. That made the score 3-2 in the 92 minute of play. In the 97th minute Paulo Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
