Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Balouta's João Cruz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of SC Balouta booed when SC Oleirinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jaime Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Guerreiro in the 14th minute of the match. Rafael Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Cruz in the 16th minute of play. SC Balouta's Luís Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Branco having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Cruz in the 22nd minute of play forced SC Oleirinhos's goalkeeper Rafael Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute of the match, João Cruz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafael Branco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th minute, António Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Augusto Pinto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Pedroso skillfully saved the ball. Domingos Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Pedroso having to interfere. David Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Guerreiro in the 34th minute of play. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Balouta's goalkeeper David Pedroso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Oleirinhos were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after SC Balouta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Pinto took the corner.

If Domingos Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rdth minute of the game Jaime Guerreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Balouta's David Pedroso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Jaime Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Sousa hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. David Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Cruz in the 87th minute of play forced SC Oleirinhos's goalkeeper Rafael Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Domingos Gaspar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 92 minutes, Jaime Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Oleirinhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Guerreiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Branco came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Balouta's Luís Lopes. But to his dismay, Luís Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alberto Teixeira hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. David Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Oleirinhos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
