Jorge Fonseca hit a great ball. Gustavo Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Santarém in the 3rd minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Freixedas FC! Casebres's Gustavo Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Santarém in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Casebres getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Pedro Pires hit a great ball. A hard shot 13 in the game by Miguel Amaro from a close distance when the talented Gustavo Fernandes managed to make a qualified save. Casebres's players were relieved. Alexandre Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Fernandes having to interfere. Freixedas FC's Miguel Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Alexandre Santarém elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Amaro got free with Gustavo Fernandes in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd match minute, Freixedas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Paredes to maneuver through the defense. When Jacinto Porto fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casebres's protests and gave Jacinto Porto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Casebres getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jacinto Porto hit a great ball. Diogo Matias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Fontes in the 43rd minute of play. Lúcio Viana struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Diogo Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casebres. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Santarém to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Moniz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Paulo Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Santarém during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Freixedas FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alexandre Santarém hit a great ball. Catarino Fontes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Diogo Matias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Catarino Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Casebres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Catarino Fontes couldn't finish the play. Lúcio Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Miguel Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freixedas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Amaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Lúcio Viana fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Diogo Matias, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Casebres getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Eusébio Viana hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Alexandre Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Miguel Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gustavo Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Miguel Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
