Gustavo Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Farropo's zone, Catarino Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Reis came out of the goal and Catarino Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 98 played minutes Casebres got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Viana. João Marques took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustavo Fernandes. Casebres's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Farropo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
