In the 21st minute Miguel Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Tavares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lúcio Amorim's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Humberto Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Álvaro Tavares made a huge save. A collision led to Porteira FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jorge Torres hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Miguel Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. David Moutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porteira FC. Miguel Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Moutinho having to interfere. The supporters of Porteira FC booed when Gonca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Gonca FC defense, Miguel Carneiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Moutinho. The Gonca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Moutinho should have stopped the shot. David Moutinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Carneiro in the 68th minute. Artur Baptista struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Emanuel Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Gonca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gonca FC booed when Porteira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes in the game, Artur Baptista fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without David Moutinho having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Miguel Carneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Moutinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. After a defensive mix-up in Porteira FC's zone, Lúcio Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Tavares came out of the goal and Lúcio Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonca FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Porteira FC for a fine match.
