After a defensive mix-up in Pedome FC's zone, Afonso Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Veiga came out of the goal and Afonso Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Azevedo in the 11th minute of the match. Pedome FC's Jacinto Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Pedome FC from getting a goal against them. Lúcio Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Veiga having to interfere. When Gonca FC's Lúcio Amorim in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Afonso Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Veiga having to interfere. Jacinto Veiga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Almeida in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Macedo was the one to do the kick off. Lúcio Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jacinto Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 56th match minute, Gonca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Barros to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, João Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Gonca FC's goalkeeper David Moutinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Azevedo. Fernando Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. David Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sebastião Neto fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pedome FC's protests and gave Sebastião Neto a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Pedome FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Neto. 86 minutes into the match, Humberto Antunes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pedome FC's Jacinto Veiga. Jacinto Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Almeida in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Veiga saved Pedome FC from getting behind. Afonso Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jacinto Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonca FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
