Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Teixeira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Samuel's Ricardo Sá proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Samuel from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the game, Miguel Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samuel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Navarra FC the free kick. The supporters of Navarra FC booed when Samuel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Navarra FC's António Tavares couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Samuel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Pereira in the 11th minute of play forced Samuel's goalkeeper Ricardo Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Navarra FC's Gil Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Gonçalves in the 18th minute of play. Ricardo Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th match minute, Samuel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. With 28 minutes on the clock, Lucas Borges commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Samuel:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Navarra FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ricardo Sá, was totally fooled by Navarra FC's António Tavares, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Vítor Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samuel's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vítor Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vítor Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. If Vítor Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Navarra FC's Nuno Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Pereira made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Vasco Pinheiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ricardo Sá was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nuno Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusébio Melo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardo Sá. Samuel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nuno Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Sá having to interfere. Nuno Pereira scored 3-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Navarra FC's Vasco Pinheiro got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Pereira in the 76th minute of play forced Samuel's goalkeeper Ricardo Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Samuel getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Vítor Gonçalves hit a great ball. Samuel's Ricardo Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Pereira in the 83rd minute of play. Henrique Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Navarra FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Samuel for a fine match.
