Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Lopes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Afonso Aleixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Carlos Neves fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coelhos FC's protests and gave Carlos Neves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Coelhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Neves to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Penso's Diamantino Sousa tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lúcio Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Pedroso having to interfere. If Miguel Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Coelhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Correia came free, but Carlos Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Neves was a little too slow when Carlos Neves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. Carlos Pedroso came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Penso's Miguel Correia. But to his dismay, Miguel Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Coelhos FC's Daniel Lopes in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penso's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Pedroso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Penso's Lúcio Pinheiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After 45 played minutes Penso got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Araújo. Daniel Lopes struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Abel Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coelhos FC.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Correia to make the kick off. When Coelhos FC's Daniel Lopes in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penso's goalie prevented a goal. Raul Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Abel Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Penso's goalkeeper Abel Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Daniel Lopes put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Abel Neves. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Carlos Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coelhos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Penso's Cristóvão Gonçalves got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute of the match Ricardo Coelho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Neves skillfully saved the ball. In the 77th minute, Carlos Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Carlos Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Pedroso made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Lúcio Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
