José Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matozinhos FC's Duarte Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Neves in the 28th minute of play. Duarte Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Raul Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Raul Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matozinhos FC's Duarte Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Matozinhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Lopes came free, but Duarte Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Daniel Lopes made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Raul Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coelhos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When António Cardoso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. António Cardoso hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Raul Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Lopes in the 65th minute of play. Duarte Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Lopes in the 68th minute of the match. José Jesus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Pedroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Daniel Lopes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Duarte Faria. The Matozinhos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Coelhos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Coelhos FC.
