Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bernardo Baptista kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Guarda's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Baptista came free, but António Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. António Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Anjos hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Paulo Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Diogo Teixeira in the 20th minute really tested Alexandre Fernandes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Afonso Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 23 minutes, José Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cadoico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th play minute Daniel Guerreiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alexandre Fernandes. 1-0. After 34 minutes, Marco Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cadoico FC and the Guarda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Cadoico FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Carneiro. Bruno Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cadoico FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Diogo Teixeira was slow to take the kick. During this time Guarda's players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Baptista was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cadoico FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, José Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cadoico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guarda the free kick. José Paiva hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Paulo Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alexandre Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Carneiro was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 62nd minute, Marco Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cadoico FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Diogo Teixeira was slow to take the kick. During this time Guarda's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Guarda's Diogo Teixeira to fire away a dangerous shot which Alexandre Fernandes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Paiva took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised António Porto. António Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 88th minute, Daniel Guerreiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guarda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Guarda's Daniel Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Cadoico FC defense, Daniel Guerreiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Fernandes. The Cadoico FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Fernandes should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guarda had won after a very even match.
