Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Pereira kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes, Carotes's Alexandre Gaspar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandre Fernandes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carotes reached it. Bernardo Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cristiano Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Luís Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Álvaro Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carotes's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Monteiro's late challenge caught a Cadoico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. Alberto Monteiro hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Bernardo Baptista fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cristiano Guerreiro, passed just outside the right post. When Carotes's Álvaro Reis in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cadoico FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Álvaro Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carotes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Carotes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexandre Gaspar in the 46th minute. A nice corner shot did that Alexandre Gaspar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alexandre Fernandes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Baptista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd play minute Álvaro Reis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alexandre Fernandes. 1-1. 57 minutes into the match, Cadoico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Pereira came free, but Alexandre Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Reis got free with Alexandre Fernandes in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexandre Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Paiva struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Cristiano Guerreiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadoico FC. Marco Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Guerreiro having to interfere. After some careless play in the Carotes defense, Bernardo Baptista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristiano Guerreiro. The Carotes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristiano Guerreiro should have stopped the shot. After 89 played minutes Carotes got a freekick which was hit by David Faria. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Bernardo Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadoico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Guerreiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the game, Luís Pereira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexandre Fernandes. Luís Pereira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2.
