Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Corticos's Afonso Baptista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Afonso Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Araújo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristóvão Porto during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristóvão Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 15 minutes, Afonso Baptista made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Tonda's Adolfo Araújo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasco Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Afonso Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, SC Tonda's Vítor Sousa got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Afonso Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 minutes of play, SC Corticos's Afonso Baptista made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adolfo Araújo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The SC Tonda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Corticos were winning 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in SC Corticos's zone, Manuel Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Reis came out of the goal and Manuel Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute Paulo Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Torres went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Afonso Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Araújo was a little too slow when Cristóvão Porto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 74th minute Manuel Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Assis struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Vasco Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Tonda. Cristóvão Porto hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. A collision led to SC Tonda getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Inácio Moutinho hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, SC Corticos's Armando Macedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Araújo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Tonda! After a defensive mix-up in SC Corticos's zone, Paulo Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Reis came out of the goal and Paulo Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Corticos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
