Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bandeiras's Fábio Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Lima hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Afonso Dias hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Joaquim Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rui Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catarino Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Carvalho in the 22nd minute of the match. When Jacinto Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Cunqueiros's protests and gave Jacinto Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. Catarino Reis had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Júlio Pires's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Catarino Reis came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Bandeiras's Júlio Pires. But to his dismay, Júlio Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Bandeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Catarino Gueifão came free, but Eduardo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rui Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Ramos took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Ramos. Eduardo Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Fábio Carvalho made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, SC Cunqueiros's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Carvalho came free, but Catarino Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábio Carvalho in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Catarino Reis saved SC Cunqueiros from getting behind. When Rui Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Bandeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Pedroso couldn't finish the play. Catarino Gueifão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Eduardo Ramos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fábio Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Catarino Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bandeiras's Afonso Azevedo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Joaquim Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. António Lisboa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. SC Cunqueiros's Fábio Resende shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eduardo Ramos but with some difficulty. Eduardo Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bandeiras's Paulo Leiria got a free kick in the 77th minute. Rui Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bandeiras's Rui Pedroso got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fábio Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Reis having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Fábio Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Catarino Gueifão in the 93rd minute. Amadeu Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Bandeiras's Eduardo Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Bandeiras from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bandeiras players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
