Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Afonso Gonçalves started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Daniel Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pontinhas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Guarda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Afonso Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adelino Carvalho during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Adelino Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. António Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Vile's Simão Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Carvalho in the 27th minute of play. If Adelino Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Coimbra having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Pontinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Cândido Araújo. 38 minutes into the match, SC Vile's goalkeeper Simão Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Guarda. After 43 minutes of play, SC Vile's Miguel Faria made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. António Coimbra was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adelino Carvalho made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, SC Vile's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Guarda came free, but Simão Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Vile getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Carlos Santos hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Afonso Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Vile's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Coimbra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Pontinhas FC's António Coimbra got control of the ball when Carlos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pontinhas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Afonso Gonçalves scored to the left of an out of position António Coimbra, making the score, 0-2. If Miguel Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Afonso Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. António Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Daniel Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pontinhas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Guarda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pontinhas FC's Mariano Bessa got a free kick in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adelino Carvalho in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Carlos Santos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played. Carlos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The SC Vile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
