Manuel Barbosa started the match with the kick off. Filipe Cardoso made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Joaquim Santarém sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Barbosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Moutinho having to make a save. In the 15th minute, Pedro Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delfim Lisboa's late challenge caught a SC Vieirinhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delfim Lisboa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Folhada FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Delfim Lisboa hit a great ball. If Manuel Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armindo Pinto's late challenge caught a Folhada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored Folhada FC's protests and gave Emanuel Esteves a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Vieirinhos booed when Folhada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. António Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Garcia made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Garcia in the 54th minute of play forced Folhada FC's goalkeeper Filipe Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Catarino Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Folhada FC's Manuel Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fábio Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Moutinho having to interfere. SC Vieirinhos's António Moutinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save SC Vieirinhos from getting a goal against them. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
