Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marco Domingues started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Malinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Melo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 5 minutes, Marco Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montenegrelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Assunção blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fábio Simões having to make a save. Rodrigo Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fábio Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Montenegrelo's Miguel Ferreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélder Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 26th match minute, Malinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Coelho to maneuver through the defense. In the 27thth minute of the game Marco Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malinho FC's Hélder Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fábio Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Assunção's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 35 minutes, Mariano Coelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malinho FC and the Montenegrelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Malinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Malinho FC's Hélder Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Domingues in the 37th minute of play. When Miguel Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Montenegrelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Ferreira couldn't finish the play. Miguel Ferreiras short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Hélder Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Rodrigo Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malinho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Assunção was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 48 played minutes Marco Domingues rounded Malinho FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Assunção stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Miguel Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montenegrelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Rodrigo Assunção fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Miguel Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Malinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Ferreira came free, but Hélder Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Miguel Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Montenegrelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Ferreira couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Mariano Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Malinho FC's zone, Miguel Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Amorim came out of the goal and Miguel Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gustavo Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fábio Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Montenegrelo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Malinho FC for a fine match.
