Fortunho FC's Daniel Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Fortunho FC from getting a goal against them. With 10 minutes on the clock, Afonso Dantas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Fortunho FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Torrinha:s goal. When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, Torrinha's Manuel Miranda got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Daniel Carneiro. Vasco Simões's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albertino Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Daniel Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertino Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albertino Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Coelho having to interfere. Albertino Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasco Simões went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Torrinha players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fortunho FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Vasco Simões made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Albertino Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fortunho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torrinha the free kick. Albertino Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Fortunho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Paredes came free, but Daniel Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasco Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Miranda struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Daniel Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrinha. Bernardo Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Daniel Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Nascimento hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Albertino Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasco Simões went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Paulo Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Carneiro having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Paulo Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Carneiro. Fortunho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Bernardo Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Fortunho FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fortunho FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
