Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulo Rocha took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Bafareira FC defense, Gil Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Amaral. The Bafareira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Amaral should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bafareira FC's zone, Gil Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Amaral came out of the goal and Gil Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Paulo Rocha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adelino Ramos, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Paulo Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adelino Ramos was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Alexandre Amaral came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Paraduca's Gil Mendes. But to his dismay, Gil Mendes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After having played for 30 minutes, Gil Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraduca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Bafareira FC's Paulo Rocha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adelino Ramos. Adelino Ramos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. If Pedro Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 40 played minutes Paraduca got a freekick which was hit by Armando Baptista. In the 43rd minute Gil Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bafareira FC's José Brito got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Cristiano Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Gil Sá notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Bafareira FC's Alexandre Amaral. Alexandre Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Bafareira FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paraduca were winning 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gil Sá stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Gil Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandre Amaral. Bafareira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. After 63 minutes of play, Paraduca's Gil Mendes made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paraduca's Adelino Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Rocha in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Filipe Machado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adelino Ramos skillfully saved the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Bafareira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Sá came free, but Alexandre Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Paulo Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Paraduca's Gil Mendes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. Pedro Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Adelino Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Paraduca's zone, Pedro Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Ramos came out of the goal and Pedro Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Baptista hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Bafareira FC's Paulo Rocha in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraduca's goalie prevented a goal. Paulo Rocha got in the 93rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Adelino Ramos handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Pedro Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bafareira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Paraduca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Paraduca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
