Adelino Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Branco in the 4th minute of the match. João Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Armando Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraduca's protests and gave Armando Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Paraduca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Baptista to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Paraduca's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Branco came free, but Adelino Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adelino Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armindo Branco went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee ignored Reguengos FC's protests and gave Artur Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Reguengos FC got a freekick which was hit by Artur Mendes. When Armando Baptista was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. In the 47th match minute, Paraduca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Baptista to maneuver through the defense.

Reguengos FC's João Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paraduca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reguengos FC the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Leão got free with Adelino Ramos in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Paraduca's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Branco came free, but Adelino Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adelino Ramos was a little too slow when Armindo Branco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-2. The supporters of Reguengos FC booed when Paraduca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adelino Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Branco in the 78th minute of play. Adelino Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armindo Branco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Ramos having to make a save. Gil Sá hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Gil Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Reguengos FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Artur Mendes hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Reguengos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Mendes came free, but Alexandre Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reguengos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
