Hélder Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Viegas in the 11th minute of play. Alexandre Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliveira Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of SC Picarral booed when Navalho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. When SC Picarral's Oliveira Torres in 14 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alexandre Brás guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Emílio Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Navalho FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gonçalo Cunha hit a great ball. Hélder Guerreiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vítor Viegas's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Miguel Moura hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Miguel Fontes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 33 minutes, Vítor Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Navalho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Viegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Paredes got free with Alexandre Brás in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augusto Paredes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Alexandre Brás skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sebastião Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Hélder Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Azevedo in the 42nd minute of the match. Miguel Moura hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Hélder Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliveira Torres made a kick off. In the 56th minute Vítor Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Navalho FC's Vítor Viegas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélder Guerreiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hélder Guerreiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emílio Azevedo in the 60th minute. Augusto Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alexandre Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Azevedo's late challenge caught a SC Picarral's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emílio Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Navalho FC got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Azevedo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Paredes in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Brás saved Navalho FC from getting behind. Emílio Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hélder Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Navalho FC's Emílio Azevedo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 81 minutes in the game, fortunately Hélder Guerreiro had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 87th minute Augusto Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Navalho FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
