Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cascaes's Luís Sá started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Afonso Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cascaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Guerreiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Augusto Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes Cascaes got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Reis. Rui Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Torres in the 12th minute of the match. If Augusto Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes in the game, Gaspar Soares fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hélder Guerreiro having to interfere. João Matos's late challenge caught a Cascaes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Matos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Picarral's João Matos got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Luís Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Augusto Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lucas Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Picarral's protests and gave Lucas Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Picarral! In the 24th minute of the game, Cascaes got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. 28 minutes into the match, Gaspar Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélder Guerreiro. SC Picarral's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspar Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Rui Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Sá in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The wind increased when Oliveira Torres made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Cascaes's goalkeeper Rui Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Paredes. Gaspar Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Guerreiro having to interfere. The supporters of Cascaes booed when SC Picarral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Assunção didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Rui Miranda successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 78 minutes into the match, SC Picarral's Augusto Paredes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Cascaes got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Reis. The audience was convinced that Oliveira Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui Miranda was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Nuno Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Soares struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hélder Guerreiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascaes. Augusto Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Guerreiro having to interfere. Cascaes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
