Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luís Ramos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Luís Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, one of Ariero FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luís Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Machado having to interfere. Luís Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Pedro Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Fernando Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Leite blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Machado having to make a save. If Tiago Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the match, Luís Ramos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Catelaria FC's Pedro Machado. Pedro Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Mendes made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Ariero FC's Luís Ramos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 64 minutes into the game, Henrique Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catelaria FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ariero FC the free kick. A collision led to Catelaria FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Henrique Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 66th minute Luís Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fernando Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catelaria FC's protests and gave Fernando Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Catelaria FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Fernando Macedo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Afonso Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catelaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Afonso Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariero FC's Filipe Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Coimbra in the 91st minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ariero FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
