After a defensive mix-up in Sabadim FC's zone, Delfim Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Pedroso came out of the goal and Delfim Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Sabadim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Luz came free, but Rui Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, José Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabadim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rui Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Sabadim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Nogueira came free, but Rui Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabadim FC's Paulo Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Paiva having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Ramos was the one to do the kick off. In the 75thth minute of the game José Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Louroza FC's Abel Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rui Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Pedroso having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Sabadim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Campos to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute of the match Jorge Leal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Pedroso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Delfim Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Sabadim FC booed when Louroza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Ramos in the 92nd minute of play forced Louroza FC's goalkeeper Abel Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Louroza FC's Rui Pedroso threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rui Luz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 94 minutes, Paulo Campos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabadim FC and the Louroza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Delfim Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Louroza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delfim Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Sabadim FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Louroza FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Louroza FC.
