Louroza FC's Delfim Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Delfim Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andrezes's Lúcio Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Delfim Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lúcio Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Andrezes's Filipe Simões got a free kick in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Gaspar during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandre Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Jaime Guarda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andrezes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Louroza FC the free kick. Jaime Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Abel Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th play minute Jaime Guarda came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Abel Paiva. 1-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Luz to make the kick off. Andrezes's Lúcio Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Luz in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Andrezes booed when Louroza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rui Luz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lúcio Carneiro. That made the score 1-1 in the 74 minute of play. Abel Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 91 minutes of play, Andrezes's Jaime Guarda made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Paiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Andrezes's zone, Delfim Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Carneiro came out of the goal and Delfim Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Luz in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lúcio Carneiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lúcio Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Luz's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Andrezes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Louroza FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
