Rogério Neto started the match with the kick off. Cristiano Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Cepelos's Amadeu Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Neves in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Coalhadas's goalkeeper Francisco Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Araújo. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Bruno Neves put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amadeu Setúbal. A hard shot 19 in the game by Manuel Araújo from a close distance when the talented Francisco Figueiredo managed to make a qualified save. Coalhadas's players were relieved. Raul Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Bruno Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Setúbal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, SC Cepelos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Setúbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Neves in the 34th minute of the match. Cristiano Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Setúbal having to interfere. The SC Cepelos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coalhadas were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Neves to make the kick off. Amadeu Setúbal made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Cristiano Fontes sent off a good shot on target. Amadeu Setúbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Neves in the 53rd minute of the match. Amadeu Setúbal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. 65 minutes into the match, Manuel Araújo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Coalhadas's Francisco Figueiredo. Francisco Figueiredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Neto in the 81st minute of play forced Coalhadas's goalkeeper Francisco Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes, Cristiano Matias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coalhadas and the SC Cepelos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Cristiano Matias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes, SC Cepelos's Alexandre Garcia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Figueiredo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Cepelos reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Américo Leão during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Coalhadas booed when SC Cepelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bruno Neves fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coalhadas's protests and gave Bruno Neves a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Coalhadas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
