Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rogério Neto struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Filipe Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cepelos. Álvaro Martins hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Alexandre Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Manuel Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cepelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogério Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Rodrigues having to interfere. If João Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogério Neto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Filipe Rodrigues 28 minutes into the match. Álvaro Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alfaiao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alexandre Garcia was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Cepelos's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Alexandre Garcia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alfaiao's Filipe Rodrigues did a great save. João Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogério Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raul Ribeiro hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 52 minutes in the game, João Cardoso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amadeu Setúbal having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Araújo in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amadeu Setúbal made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when João Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Manuel Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Manuel Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Amadeu Setúbal made a huge save. The supporters of Alfaiao booed when SC Cepelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Álvaro Martins was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 83rdth minute of the game Sandro Assis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Cepelos's Amadeu Setúbal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 87 minutes, Álvaro Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alfaiao and the SC Cepelos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alfaiao's goalkeeper Filipe Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Cepelos's Manuel Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Rogério Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filipe Rodrigues was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Cepelos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alfaiao had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
