After 2 minutes, Adelino Campos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seixos and the SC Jugueiros players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Jugueiros booed when Seixos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adelino Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogério Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Daniel Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Jugueiros's zone, Adelino Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Araújo came out of the goal and Adelino Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Assis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Araújo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogério Faria went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Seixos's zone, Pedro Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Guerreiro came out of the goal and Pedro Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adelino Assis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Araújo having to make a save. In the 34th minute, Rogério Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 minutes, Sebastião Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Jugueiros and the Seixos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastião Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Pedro Sá made the kick off in the second half. SC Jugueiros's Daniel Araújo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save SC Jugueiros from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Rogério Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seixos's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adelino Assis got free with Daniel Araújo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, SC Jugueiros's Daniel Araújo got control of the ball when Adelino Assis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adelino Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Araújo having to interfere. Rogério Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 minutes, Rogério Faria made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SC Jugueiros's Daniel Araújo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Nuno Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seixos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Jugueiros the free kick. Nuno Queirós hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Pedro Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Anjos in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Rogério Faria fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Daniel Araújo, passed just outside the right post. In the 93rd minute of the match Jorge Leão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Guerreiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pedro Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pedro Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seixos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
