Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Almeida got the match started through his kick off. Daniel Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cândido Teixeira hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Carlos Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Cândido Teixeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rogério Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Carlos Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Foia. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Gomes got free with Gil Fontes in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Óscar Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cândido Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Fontes having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Beloi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Cabral to maneuver through the defense. When Jorge Porto came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Beloi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Porto couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Cândido Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Beloi's Cândido Teixeira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gil Fontes. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. The supporters of Beloi booed when Foia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner ended in Tiago Rodrigues almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Foia's Gil Fontes did a great save. Luís Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
52 minutes into the game, Miguel Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Foia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beloi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Foia's Miguel Cunha got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Jorge Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Fontes having to interfere. Carlos Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Almeida in the 64th minute of the match. Luís Reis scored 2-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Foia's Gil Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Porto in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Porto in the 78th minute of play forced Foia's goalkeeper Gil Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Óscar Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Fontes having to interfere. Jorge Porto took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Fontes. Gil Fontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Foia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Beloi.
