The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bruno Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Joaquim Amorim made a huge save. Cristóvão Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Amorim having to interfere. Bruno Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Nuno Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Alexandre Lima made a precise shot to the right of Filipe Faria. Goucha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. SC Trezoi's Alexandre Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Bruno Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goucha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When David Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Trezoi's protests and gave David Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Goucha FC. Álvaro Figueiredo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquim Amorim. 2-1. Goucha FC's Bruno Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandre Lima made a kick off. Joaquim Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Mendes's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Alexandre Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Faria having to interfere. Cristóvão Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Joaquim Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, SC Trezoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Ferro to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Mendes in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquim Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filipe Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Lima in the 78th minute of play. Bruno Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Amorim having to interfere. Joaquim Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Luís Coelho hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Cristóvão Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Amorim having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Lima in the 92nd minute of play forced Goucha FC's goalkeeper Filipe Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Amorim having to interfere. Cristóvão Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SC Trezoi players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Goucha FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
