Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. António Faria started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match, Afonso Leite got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquim Amorim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Nuno Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Filhadal booed when SC Trezoi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nuno Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the SC Trezoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Baptista couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Filhadal defense, Nuno Baptista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Veiga. The Filhadal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Veiga should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute of the match, António Faria tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquim Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rui Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Lima in the 33rd minute of play. Alexandre Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Veiga having to interfere. After some careless play in the Filhadal defense, Nuno Baptista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Veiga. The Filhadal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Veiga should have stopped the shot. If António Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filhadal's Rui Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Baptista in the 42nd minute of play. The Filhadal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Trezoi were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Lima was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, António Faria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquim Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 62nd minute, Afonso Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, António Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Filhadal's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filhadal's Rui Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Lima in the 70th minute of play. David Macedo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. Joaquim Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Faria's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Rui Veiga made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Nuno Baptista sent off a good shot on target. When Nuno Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the SC Trezoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Baptista couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, SC Trezoi's Nuno Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Trezoi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
