They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Vale made a kick off. In the 57th minute Lucas Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paulo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Lúcio Borges made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Carril FC's Fábio Nogueira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Paulo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
