Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) If Miguel Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orelhudo's Alexandre Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Leiria in the 11th minute of play. Joaquim Cunha struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Xavier Brás didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orelhudo. Xavier Brás was a little too slow when Joaquim Cunha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Orelhudo's Armindo Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gil Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teixogueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Leiria might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Leiria ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Gil Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Xavier Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gil Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gil Moura ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 45 minutes, Miguel Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teixogueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Leiria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gil Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Alexandre Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquim Cunha to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Cunha in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xavier Brás prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delfim Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Brás having to interfere. Alexandre Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Leiria in the 57th minute of the match. If Gil Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Teixogueira's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Cunha came free, but Xavier Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Orelhudo's zone, Miguel Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Coelho came out of the goal and Miguel Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delfim Pereira's late challenge caught a Teixogueira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delfim Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, Orelhudo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xavier Brás. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. António Nascimento's late challenge caught a Orelhudo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. António Nascimento hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes Teixogueira's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Simão Maia who took care of the corner kick. Miguel Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Teixogueira players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Orelhudo.
