All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell António Morais to make the kick off. Cândido Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 67 minutes into the game, SC Mangues's Vicente Sousa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquim Ferreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. António Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Dantas struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Joaquim Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Mangues. When Heitor Brás fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Aparecida's protests and gave Heitor Brás a yellow card for diving instead. Heitor Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. SC Aparecida's Joaquim Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Dantas in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Aparecida players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Mangues.
