Rui Magalhães succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Vicente Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Manuel Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Joel Ferreira hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Vibeira FC's Manuel Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Vibeira FC from getting a goal against them. Joel Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicente Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Paiva having to interfere. When Raul Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vibeira FC's protests and gave Raul Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Vibeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Teixeira. Vibeira FC's Manuel Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Domingues in the 62nd minute of play. Joel Ferreira got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 65 played minutes Vibeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Ferreira. Júlio Pereira made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Henrique Morais sent off a good shot on target. Henrique Morais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Júlio Pereira made a huge save. Nuno Guerreiro charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Guerreiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Nuno Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Morais in the 74th minute. After 79 minutes, André Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vibeira FC and the SC Portinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Brás's late challenge caught a Vibeira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Brás helped the player get up and apologised. Rodrigo Brás hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Vibeira FC played a much better game than SC Portinho and deserved their victory. The SC Portinho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
