Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís Matos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mariano Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Domingos Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cláudio Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cláudio Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Cabral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Domingos Henriques. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. When Mariano Porto came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Marmorial FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Porto couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, SC Cabecudo's Domingos Henriques got control of the ball when Joel Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Matos struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Alberto Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cabecudo. Luís Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Dias having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marmorial FC's Rafael Viana got a free kick in the 26th minute. Domingos Henriques came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Marmorial FC's Joel Cabral. But to his dismay, Joel Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Luís Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Dias having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Matos in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Viriato Morais sped through Marmorial FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto Dias. Marmorial FC's Vítor Porto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Domingos Henriques but with some difficulty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Porto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Joel Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viriato Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Dias having to interfere. In the 60th minute Mariano Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, SC Cabecudo's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Porto came free, but Domingos Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Dias acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nuno Brás. After 72 minutes, Adelino Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marmorial FC and the SC Cabecudo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Marmorial FC got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Gaspar. In the 76th match minute, SC Cabecudo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Brás to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Viriato Morais might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Dias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viriato Morais ran back to his position shaking his head. Adelino Gaspar got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Adelino Gaspar hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Luís Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave SC Cabecudo a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Simão Ferreira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Marmorial FC's Alberto Dias. 2-2. SC Cabecudo were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
