Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adelino Setúbal kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bandulha FC's zone, Adelino Setúbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Melo came out of the goal and Adelino Setúbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Luís Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Setúbal in the 10th minute of the match. Luís Melo struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Luís Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcorriol. Gonçalo Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonçalo Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Alcorriol booed when Bandulha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diogo Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 minutes, Cristóvão Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcorriol and the Bandulha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Alcorriol got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Cruz. Adelino Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Melo having to interfere. Luís Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Hugo Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Alcorriol were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Diogo Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Bandulha FC booed when Alcorriol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cristiano Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandulha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Matias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Adelino Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
