Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Alvisquer's David Simões started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Morais came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Domingos Borges could save by the left post. Domingos Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Delfim Silva struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Duarte Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muxagata FC. Delfim Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 18 played minutes SC Alvisquer got a freekick which was hit by André Matias. Muxagata FC's Domingos Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Simões in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, José Morais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingos Borges. Muxagata FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Morais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. José Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Borges having to interfere. When Cristiano Guerreiro came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Muxagata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Guerreiro couldn't finish the play. SC Alvisquer's José Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Simões's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Domingos Borges skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Guerreiro to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Alvisquer's goalkeeper Duarte Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute José Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Simões in the 65th minute of play forced Muxagata FC's goalkeeper Domingos Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delfim Silva struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Duarte Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muxagata FC. Duarte Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delfim Silva in the 79th minute.
