Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristiano Guerreiro got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Américo Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Muxagata FC's zone, Vítor Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Borges came out of the goal and Vítor Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SC Meceares's zone, Cristiano Guerreiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Borges came out of the goal and Cristiano Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delfim Silva was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Muxagata FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Paulo Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Guerreiro in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Muxagata FC's zone, Américo Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Borges came out of the goal and Américo Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Muxagata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Neves came free, but Domingos Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Delfim Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sérgio Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Muxagata FC got a corner. SC Meceares's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raul Oliveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Raul Oliveira made a great header on Muxagata FC's corner, it was just that SC Meceares's Paulo Borges managed to reach the ball for a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vítor Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Muxagata FC's Lúcio Cabral got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Vítor Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Domingos Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Teixeira in the 59th minute of play forced Muxagata FC's goalkeeper Domingos Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Muxagata FC's Domingos Borges got control of the ball when Américo Mota tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Delfim Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muxagata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delfim Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Delfim Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Muxagata FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 73rd minute, David Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Henriques hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, SC Meceares's Domingos Borges threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vítor Teixeira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 97th minute, Américo Mota fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Muxagata FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
