Jorge Porto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. SC Varadouro's Paulo Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Paulo Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Varadouro's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Machado in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Luz saved Bemfeita FC from getting behind. Cristóvão Cabral hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Nuno Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Bemfeita FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Nogueira. Adelino Viana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alberto Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the SC Varadouro defense, Mariano Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Nunes. The SC Varadouro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Nunes should have stopped the shot. Mariano Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Nuno Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bemfeita FC. Cristóvão Cabral hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

55 minutes into the game, SC Varadouro's Paulo Freitas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Luz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Carlos Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Nunes having to interfere. André Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Alberto Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mariano Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
