Vasco Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Armando Luz made a huge save. Bemfeita FC's Armando Luz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Bemfeita FC from getting a goal against them. Paulo Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Luz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bemfeita FC's Joaquim Correia got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Bracos's Catarino Setúbal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Azevedo in the 36th minute of play forced Bracos's goalkeeper Bernardo Moniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Bracos's Paulo Almeida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Luz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Carlos Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 87th minute, Vasco Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Armando Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonçalo Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. After 98 minutes, Vasco Dantas made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side.
