Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amílcar Guarda got the match started through his kick off. Catarino Leite was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amílcar Guarda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. If Amílcar Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franzilhal FC's Filipe Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cardielos booed when Franzilhal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Amílcar Guarda came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Franzilhal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílcar Guarda couldn't finish the play. After 16 minutes, Basílio Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cardielos and the Franzilhal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Basílio Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Catarino Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 23 played minutes Cardielos got a freekick which was hit by Bento Guarda. Amílcar Guarda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Franzilhal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Vaz came free, but Augusto Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Franzilhal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Mota to maneuver through the defense. Cardielos's Emanuel Coelho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Augusto Leite in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Franzilhal FC's Augusto Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Vaz in the 39th minute of play. Paulo Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Augusto Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Filipe Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Leite having to interfere. Paulo Vaz struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Augusto Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardielos. Filipe Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Catarino Leite having to make a save. If Paulo Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cardielos's Catarino Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Fernandes in the 70th minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Filipe Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cardielos's Catarino Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augusto Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bento Teixeira in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Vaz in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Franzilhal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Vaz came free, but Augusto Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cardielos booed when Franzilhal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 95 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cardielos's Paulo Vaz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head.
