Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mário Torres kicked off to start the match. After 5 minutes, Bernardo Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Margueira and the SC Toucinhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Toucinhos booed when Margueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Margueira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Toucinhos the free kick. After 7 played minutes Margueira got a freekick which was hit by Oliveira Pedroso. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Andrade got free with André Paiva in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Artur Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Álvaro Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. José Campos charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Campos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes SC Toucinhos got a freekick which was hit by José Campos. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Santos couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Viana made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Bernardo Andrade put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of André Paiva. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Viana in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Paiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
