Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eduardo Veiga got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Margueira booed when SC Rebolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Andrade in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, SC Rebolo's Delfim Veiga got a free kick in the 13th minute. Bernardo Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Viana in the 22nd minute of play forced SC Rebolo's goalkeeper Alexandre Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Eduardo Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Rebolo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Margueira's Álvaro Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Veiga in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, SC Rebolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Lúcio Brás didn't quite understand what happened when in the 38 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Eduardo Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the SC Rebolo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Veiga couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Ricardo Carvalho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Margueira's Álvaro Abreu. Álvaro Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 48 minutes, Ricardo Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Rebolo and the Margueira players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Viana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugo Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Cabral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Álvaro Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Carvalho in the 64th minute of play. Ricardo Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Álvaro Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Álvaro Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 70th match minute, Margueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Pinto to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Hugo Viana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexandre Cabral. That made the score 1-1 in the 73 minute of play. Bernardo Andrade in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexandre Cabral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Margueira's Oliveira Pedroso got a free kick in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Eduardo Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Rebolo's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Margueira booed when SC Rebolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Andrade struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Alexandre Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Margueira. With an all-out effort, Margueira's Alexandre Cabral threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugo Viana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bernardo Andrades short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Alexandre Cabral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Margueira players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Rebolo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
