Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nuno Moniz took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, SC Gosende's Nuno Moniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of SC Gosende booed when Engenheiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliveira Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Nuno Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Engenheiro FC's Nuno Dias got control of the ball when Francisco Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nuno Moniz took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Dias. Nuno Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, SC Gosende's David Queirós got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the Engenheiro FC defense, Francisco Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Dias. The Engenheiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Dias should have stopped the shot. Oliveira Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rui Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Abreu having to interfere. If Oliveira Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Oliveira Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Engenheiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliveira Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nuno Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Dias having to interfere. Rui Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliveira Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Paredes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, SC Gosende was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Silva to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gosende's zone, Oliveira Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Abreu came out of the goal and Oliveira Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After taking down the ball on SC Gosende's corner Rui Garcia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nuno Dias quite easily take care of the ball. Oliveira Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Abreu having to interfere. Francisco Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Nuno Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Moniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Carneiro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Francisco Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nuno Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Engenheiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Moniz came free, but Nuno Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Gosende fans cheered their team off the field, for while Engenheiro FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
