Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lucas Paredes kicked off to start the match. Lucas Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Borba having to interfere. When Lucas Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Engenheiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Paredes couldn't finish the play. Oliveira Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Raul Borba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Oliveira Fonseca scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Borba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Engenheiro FC's Oliveira Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Carvalho in the 25th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Castro during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Perlim getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Adolfo Castro hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Henrique Figueiredo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Perlim's Raul Borba didn't even have to move. The supporters of Engenheiro FC booed when SC Perlim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, SC Perlim's Amadeu Viana tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Oliveira Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Carvalho in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Manuel Carvalho made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Miguel Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Perlim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Borba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th match minute, SC Perlim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Assis to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute of the match Henrique Figueiredo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Borba skillfully saved the ball. After 72 played minutes, Engenheiro FC's Hugo Vaz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raul Borba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Engenheiro FC reached it. If Lucas Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Leiria's late challenge caught a Engenheiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Leiria helped the player get up and apologised. Henrique Figueiredo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Engenheiro FC's Lucas Paredes in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Perlim's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd minute, Lucas Paredes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute Lucas Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Borba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th match minute, Engenheiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveira Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Engenheiro FC were the better team. Engenheiro FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
