Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Chabouco's José Baptista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SC Chabouco's Nuno Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Setúbal in the 3rd minute of play. Nuno Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Brás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes, Delfim Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Chabouco and the Engenho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nuno Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óscar Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game José Baptista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Engenho FC's João Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afonso Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Óscar Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Barbosa having to interfere. Nuno Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Brás in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Engenho FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Baptista came free, but João Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Veiga in the 36th minute of play forced Engenho FC's goalkeeper João Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Engenho FC's Óscar Brás slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nuno Barbosa. That made the score 1-0 after 37 minutes of play. Diamantino Valente charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Valente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Engenho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Valente to maneuver through the defense. José Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Sousa having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Óscar Brás made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Engenho FC's Diamantino Valente got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Diamantino Valente was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Diamantino Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Afonso Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Afonso Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Engenho FC's zone, José Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Sousa came out of the goal and José Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Engenho FC's João Sousa got control of the ball when Jaime Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 92 played minutes SC Chabouco got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Gueifão. Nuno Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Engenho FC had won after a very even match.
